Personalised Indian gifting

The everyday, given with care.

Curated gifts of spice, orchard, and tradition — natural, locally sourced, and packed from the freshest lot. Named for the person, not the catalogue.

The pantry principle

Five things we will not compromise.

Samanya means the everyday. We treat the Indian kitchen — spice, nut, fruit of the tree — as the most intimate gift you can give.

01Natural

Whole spices, unpolished nuts, nothing dyed to look louder than the harvest.

02Traditional

Recipes and pairings a grandmother would recognise: a thaal, a masala dabba, a festival box.

03Indian

From Kerala vines and Kashmir orchards — gifts that taste of this land, not a warehouse aisle.

04Locally sourced

We work with growers and small millers, not anonymous bulk lots with a pretty ribbon.

05Freshest

Spices and dry fruits packed to order from the current lot. A gift should still smell alive.

Collections

Choose a pantry, then make it theirs.

Every box can be named, noted, and balanced to a palate — milder, richer, festive, or daily.

How a gift is made

Personal, not printed.

We do not slap a logo on a hamper. We ask who it is for, what they cook, what they cannot eat, and which festival is at the door.

1
Tell us the person

Name, occasion, palate, and any nuts or heat they should not meet.

2
We source this week’s lots

Pepper, almonds, figs — whatever is brightest now, from growers we know.

3
Packed by hand, sent as if from home

Natural wraps, a named lid, a note. Ready for the doorstep or the office desk.

When to give

Gifts for the days that matter.

01

Festivals

Diwali, Eid, Christmas, Pongal — a pantry that arrives before the guests.

02

Weddings

Return gifts and family thaals that honour both houses without looking identical.

03

Corporate

Named boxes for teams and clients. Indian, edible, and actually wanted.

04

Just because

A masala dabba for a new kitchen. Almonds for a recovery. Spice for a cook you love.

This week’s lots

What is bright in the pantry now.

We list what we would pack today. A gift from ET samanya should still smell of the mill and the orchard.

From IdukkiMalabar pepper

Bold, floral, still on the vine’s schedule. For the cook who grinds at the table.

From KashmirMamra almonds

Sweet, small, and oil-rich. Packed the week they reach us — never a tired tin.

From KarnatakaByadgi chilli

Colour without cruelty. Warmth for a festival thaal, not a dare.

“They sent my mother a masala box that smelled like her own kitchen in Calicut. That is a rarer gift than ribbon.”
A daughter, for a sixtieth birthday

We keep a small book of how boxes were received. If you want a gift that is eaten, cooked with, and remembered — start here.

Tell us who it is for. We will build the rest.
