Malabar pepper, Byadgi and Kashmiri chilli, Erode turmeric, green cardamom — named for the land, not a blend number.
The name
Samanya is the everyday. We refuse to treat it as cheap.
ET samanya is a personalised gifting company built around the Indian pantry: whole spices, dry fruits, and nuts that still smell of the place they grew.
We curate gifts the way a careful host lays a thaal — not more, not louder, but right. A pepper that was harvested this season. Almonds that have not sat in a painted tin since last Diwali. A chilli chosen for colour and kindness, not for a dare.
Personalisation, for us, is not a printed mug. It is asking who the gift is for, what they cook, what they cannot eat, and which festival is coming through the door. Then packing a box that could only have been meant for them.
Natural. Traditional. Indian. Locally sourced. The freshest spices and dry fruits we can put our name on. That is the whole manifesto.
How we source
From vine, orchard, and mill — not from a catalogue.
Mamra almonds, cashews, pistachios, anjeer, raisins. We pack what is bright this week, and we say so.
Growers, millers, and packers we can telephone. If we cannot tell you where it came from, it does not enter the box.
